When I have time, I'll try and do this for all DPS asset packs I have, and then uninstall all those I was unable to change. So it's possible in *some* cases to shorten the filepath on DPS' side, but this seems very limited. This is very time consuming and I would like to be able to have it import all of them at once. DPS was able to still see the associated assets in the program. Is there an option where I can import multiple assets at a time When I try to select assets to import in the file explorer it only allows me to import them one at a time. I can't move the individual assets/image files out of those folders and into the parent "floors" folder of this asset pack, BUT, I was able to move these subfolders out and into the general "floors" folder of "Caverns and Mines" (thus eliminating the redundent "cave floors" folder). Now, some asset packs have sub-folders nested within sub folders, for instance, "Caverns and Mines" asset pack has a "floors" subfolder, in which it then has a "cave floors" folder, within which lay the various folders for different kinds of cavern floors. I tried moving the images/assets out of that folder, and into a general "floors" folder I created in the "collections" folder of DPS, but DPS could no longer find the assets until I returned them to their original place. For instance, I just did an experiment:Īs you know, DPS' assets are organized like this:Įach of the above sub folders are necessary as DPS' code searches for a "floors" folder to properly load the floor assets of a given asset pack. The filepath length would make sense.though I'm not sure how to get around that, since DPS seems to rely on this sub folder system to organize all assets.
